The Future, in 3-D

No, I’m not talking about watching Sandra Bullock float in space for two hours, I’m talking about real life plastic prototypes you can make in your living room. I remember watching Captain Jean-Luc Picard’s computer render objects on command while mentally grouping this possibility in the same basket with unicorns and leprechauns. I never thought it would become a reality, let alone one I could purchase at Walmart.

This is a game changer, a technological tipping point. Hold on to your hats as we watch big industries change as they embrace rapid product prototyping. Need a new muffler, wait as your parts are made real time at the dealer. Need a new heart valve, hold please while we print one made from your own cells. We can even survive the apocalypse with protein based 3-d printed super foods.

Competitive patents will release early in 2014 unleashing the inescapable exponential potential for this technology making it a household commodity. Make way as science fiction becomes science fact. If you can think it, you can make it.
